The States of our Country: Social Studies

Friends~I am not sure that this can be any cuter!  I love the idea of having students travel through the USA and investigate each state. They create their own luggage and follow a travel guide while taking notes on the different countries. 

Each state has their own information card plus templates for making the luggage. The state cards can be hung up in the classroom to add to the lesson. 

The students store their information cards inside their luggage.  

The boarding passes are really neat because they help the students spread out while studying the states. I can just image my kiddos moving around the room reading about each state, recording information and storing their new found facts in their luggage.
