ReplyDeleteMy favorite spring activity is our annual Nature Walk through the high school's nature preserve! We look for different types of seeds, bugs, tree leaves, and identify human impact on the forest.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite spring activity is decorating a paper cup with a face and growing grass as its hair. Lots of fun and a good science experiment - the kids have to use what they know about what plants need and grass grows FAST!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite spring activity would be lifecycles...of plants, butterflies, and frogs. My kids each year love making the pasta life cycle of a butterfly. A piece of rice for the egg, a macaroni noodle for the caterpillar, a shell pasta for the pupa/cocoon, and bowtie pasta for the butterfly. It turns out so cute.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite spring activity would have to be studying living things. We are working on an animal book about local animals vs. animals that live in Australia. We are super excited about it!
