More than a Frame Giveaway!

Schroeder Friends...I have a fun Friday Give Away for you!  I was shopping at the Goodwill a few weeks ago and I stumbled across a stack of digital picture frames.  I grabbed up 4 for school and one for a lucky follower of The Schroeder Page.  Check out the many ways that I have been using them this summer.

Here is how you can enter my giveaway.  It is super EASY.
1. Watch the three videos and come up with a quick way to use a digital frame  in your classroom.
2. Leave a comment on my blog post telling me about your idea.
3.  One more thing...you must follow of my blog and my new blog...

This give away will run until Monday, August 8th.  If you just can't wait...you can grab your own frame at...

  3. I would use this in my class to share and record my students writing. I would also use this to record their readers theatre. I can see this being an instant favorite for parents at open house to see their children's reading and writing progress!

  4. Well, let's see... Since it's a picture frame I would run pictures through it of spelling words/special sounds. When the picture comes through the kiddos would say(record) the sound/word and write it. Erase and Repeat.

I follow both of your blogs. Both of your buttons are on my blog!

  7. Wow! What a great invention! I would use this for counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's in math. I would also use it for students to learn content-area vocabulary. Thanks for sharing!

  11. My idea would be for a partner to record word wall words/spelling words and have the person write the word they say. Or, when we are learning about nouns, verbs, adjectives - record which part of speech and have the child write it. For example say noun, child writes dog!

My idea would be to start the year out using it like you did in the last video, only for identifying letters and matching lowercase and uppercase...

  16. What a cool find! What is the brand? I want to find some if I don't win ^_^
Your ideas are great. The only thing I could come up with is to record the words myself and have students playback my voice and spell the word to challenge students. Thanks for sharing and I am a follower.

  17. I follow both your blogs. Great find at Goodwill. I would have kid say a math fact and then record the fact and the answer. My other idea (not knowing how long you can record for) was to record a few clues to a word wall word and have the kids write the word...kind of like the "on the back" word wall activity.

  24. I followed blogs and I would have partner record 5 spelling words then have them write it out on frame with partner checking spelling. Then switch and record 5 different words.
