Morning Meeting

Welcome to Morning Meeting on The Schroeder Page!  Without a doubt, Morning Meeting is one of my students very favorite times of the day!  
It totally sets the tone for the day and allows us to start on the right foot.  

At the beginning of the year, I always use this time as a getting to know you time and character building.  It is a great time to go over classroom and school expectations.  

Last school year, we had a school wide template to use with our students to review our PBIS expectations.  You can check it out below!

I love to incorporate our PBIS expectations along with some Whole Brain Teaching!  This slide show shows you how to make that happen while also explicitly teaching to each expectation.  I highly recommend doing this the first week of school!  Lots of fun little links for you to check out too! 

I always include a class pledge!  It is a great way to create a sense of community with your students!
