In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday I have created a little center to celebrate my favorite book Horton Hears a Who!
Read the story Horton Hears a Who
In this center students will choose from a variety of "specks of dust" (colored Pom-poms. ) Have a teacher hot glue their speck of dust to a new sharpened pencil. They then head off to imagine their ________ville planet and complete a sheet with words+pictures!
It is fun to create a classbook for you library and keep to raffle off at the end of the year.
