Halloween Haunted Houses in 2nd Grade
Friends~The Halloween spirit is in full swing in 2nd grade. We had tons of fun with a pumpkin contraction sort that my sweet student teacher did with our kiddos today. Tomorrow we will join in on a Candy Corn Science rotation. We made our goggles today to prepare! The whole 2nd grade is a buzz about what tomorrow will bring.
I was so excited today when I went into my teammate's classroom and saw her kiddos working on one of my Halloween Packets. They were making these amazing haunted houses and then using my persuasive writing packet: Sell that House!
Check out how their spooky houses turned out below! I love that their teacher modeled for them how to make the houses but had them tear the paper so each one is very different! Thanks to my 2nd grade neighbors for letting me photograph and share their haunted houses!
Their sales flyer cracked me up. Some of them had their houses up for $0.01 and some for a million. I can't wait to see what else they come up with.
On another note, here is Henry the Hedgehog's first Halloween pumpkin carving picture. He slept through most of it!

Extra, extra tell Mrs. Schroeder about it!
